Some dreams begin with heartbreak. Some take flight on the wings of longing. Sometimes, they are both.
I’m beyond thrilled to share the cover of my debut novel, Flying Without Wings. This is the first book in The Boy Band Saga–a deeply personal women’s fiction serial about love, ambition, identity, and the messy beauty of becoming who you’re meant to be.
Set in the late 1990s, Flying Without Wings follows nineteen-year-old Sydney Walsh as she navigates grief, disability, and changing dreams after trading college life in Boston for something more in Atlanta’s bustling music scene. When she’s given the chance to help guide the careers of an up-and-coming vocal group called Synergy, Sydney quickly learns that the hardest part of the job isn’t just surviving the industry–it’s guarding her heart from the one person who sees her clearly: Josh Damian.
This story is about scars–both visible and invisible. It’s about healing. And yes, it’s about a love that takes root when everything else is blowing in the wind.
And now…the cover…

I hope this story finds its way into your heart the way it found its way into mine. More soon–preorders, playlists, behind-the-scenes notes, and yes, some exclusive goodies for those who’ve been with me from the start.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for dreaming. Thank you for believing in the magic of story.
With love,
Bax
